Mechanical Parking / Emergency Brakes -

Do the Dodge Ram Trucks with the 8HP transmissions have mechanical parking / emergency brake pedals? Or - do they simply rely on the electric brake in the 8 HP transmissions?

I have a pedal on the far left that actuates small drum pads inside the rear disks.

My 23' Classic Warlock has a manual mechanical pedal...

I use it frequently as I don't want it to seize.
Plus it takes the stress of the transmission parking pawl when set/used properly, especially when parking on hills.

Not sure on the 1500, but my 2020 HD 2500 with the 6.4 and the ZF 8 speed has a manual parking brake pedal.

Thanks Guys ! Ill keep the one thats already in my 55 Power Wagon then....I am looking for a home for this LARGE fuse box and I was thinking about removing the parking brake and putting the box there.
