After reading this damn forum over and over. I decided to pull my RC 2.5 spacers and replace them with bils. I have 60k on the truck now. Original shocks, so its time. So i ordered Mevos from CARid, rockauto shipping was too long and too expensive.
Mevo: Front right: GS251058
Front Left: CMS251057
Bils: Front Adj: 24-187367
Rear: 24-187374
Im still slightly ass high, so i want to set the bils at 2.8, is there any ride difference between a lower setting and a higher setting? On my brother Xterra 2.5 was was to much and they would top out he said. So i was wondering if there is any issues setting to 2.8.

Also if there is any tips feel free to post.

I will be posting pics when im done, should be done by fathersday!!

In installed my Mevo's as per Dodge specs. So far so good, My alignment is tomorrow :)

I'm going to be doing with my brother on the weekend, will truck be drivable before alignment, I'll have to drive about 40-50 miles before getting aligned! I'm also doing rear shocks. Is the shock absorbers on that sheet the rears?

Ive been driving my truck for a week now, lol... I wanted everything to settle , and I rechecked everything before I got my alignment done.

I torqued the rears to 100 FT Lbs. Youll have to cut a 21mm wrench to get to the top bolts... its a PITA... lol...

yeah both nuts, I read that on a different post when I was researching last week. Dont know if its 100% accurate but it sure worked :)

And judging on how hard they were to removed, it seemed pretty close...

Leave it at 2.5 or lift it to 2.8? The first pic the rear suspension is a little compressed in the rear but shows hole truck
The next pic is same lift just no mods

Im confused about this. I didnt have to cut anything nor did I have issues getting the top bolts?

I used an impact wrench.

The top bolt on my 2012 isnt welded to the frame, and there is no access unless you take off the entire box or get and angle wrench ( witch I dont have ) So I just cut a wrench to get to it. and I dont have an impact wrench... lol... Wow hope that made sense...

The UCA's bolts at least have a anti rotation plate... :) But I could only get 3 bolts torque properly, as the 4th bolt has all the brake lines in the way and my torque wrench wouldn't fit.

Well lets see them pics so I can understand.

He's talking about the rear upper shock mounting bolt. You have to remove the wheel well liner and wish your hands smaller to get a wrench on the backside.

OP you'll be fine driving it to get aligned. Going from 2.5 to 2.8 is hardly any change at all. If the mevos move the ball joint rearward a little it will just increase your caster a smidge. Should track straighter.
