I installed the bills @ + 2.8 and the Mevotech UCA'S at the same time , I drove it for a week prior to the alignment , my truck was fine , I couldn't tell any differences before and after the bills & Mevotecs install and after even after the alignment . Lucky I guess

I couldn't tell either, but the Alignment printout could...lol... :roflsquared:

Just got back from Yosemite, bout 400 miles round trip, everything ran great except I noticed some grease coming out of the ballpoint on top around where it seats into the UCA only on the driver side... I'll upload a pic soon

I've seen several folks say grease is spewing from around the ball joints on the mevotecs , if the Balljoint assy is NOT migrating UP its a non issue imo , just shoot more grease in every oil change or so and you'll be fine .

I've had mine on for about 14k , bills @ +2.8 sometimes the passenger side and sometimes the drivers side leaks a bit of grease up top , I just look at them occasionally to make sure the ball joint is still seated properly . I've had Zero issues , I just give em a few squirts of grease every 3-4 thousand miles .

Hope this helps !

So a few questions for those that have been commenting, I am not replacing UCA's, I did however purchase the Bils for front and rear.

Front 2.8
Rear .4 ?

I am currently leveled via spacers up front, how long after the installation should I wait before getting alignment? Is the wait time/settle time? With the rear shocks it isn't necessary for a spacer, correct? Thanks for any feedback.

As far as I know, the rear set is not adjustable. Don't wait too long for an alignment. Mine drove straight after the install, but it was way out of whack when the shop put it on the machine to align it. The longer you wait, the harder on your tires, and other components. Installed mine on a Monday, had it aligned on the following Saturday.

Could I wipe off the grease and use a dab of silicon to seal up the ball joint top? After 1000 miles there is a LOT of grease.

That's a lot more than I've ever gotten , I'd wipe it off and not add any yet and see if it keeps coming out . Maybe over serviced , they realy don't require much grease .
Remember the oem ones are non greasable .

But the other one is completely fine, I'm thinking that what ever seal is in there is broken? I want to put some permatex silicon gasket sealer on the BJ. I've always seen the grease oozes out the bottom

The permatex may work fine . I'd guess there's no seal , it's likely just pressed in which would explain why some leak a bit and some don't .

Ok sounds good, i just dont want to F' it up. I was thinking, there is a reason it is comming out and figured wouldnt be a good to seal it up.

No doubt , it would only be benificial to stop the purge around the outside diameter of the Ball joint .

I'd say there's no seal , most likely just a thermal pressed install , which creates small scores on the I.D. of the Bore that the Ball joint is thermally pressed into , therefore creating a path of least resistance for the grease .... unless more comes out than you put in I just wouldn't worry about it , because the Balljoint assy does not require much grease at all Sir .
Most ball joints do not even have a grease fitting .

HOPE THIS HELPS !

This is just my opinion friend , so make your own analysis .
