One was a custom build. The guy made the manifold and setup himself. If you want, dig me up on Facebook and I'll send you a link on there. Wade Sheppard is my full name.

you have a C6-R as your cover shot?

Not really looking for towing torq, If I was going to go for that I'd build the twin Cummins set up for towing and get 1800+lbs. Diesels are where I get my turbo addition from. But looking more for the low and mid range. I don't really care if it falls off alot once it hits 150ish. I doubt I'd ever have it past 120ish. and I kinda want to build it to a more AutoX type set up.. all low end to mid but still want it street driven and highway...

I've done my 140+ days on the highway, I don't feel like going back to jail :roflsquared:

I would love to know what trans you plan on using to hold 600-800HP..lol

There's nothing wrong with fast trucks I just rather start with a car.

Your issues seem kinda severe, so it would might be time to give it up. I think we now mods are going to make it better..lol

answer to trans.. is alot of them.
Really if it came to it I'd swap it out to 6 speed manual Tremec TR-6060 (which I'd rather have anyway) but not sure the practicality of that since I have done zero research.
I'm also curious if Suncoast can come up with a stand alone controller with for the hemi and run a 68RFE that are in the diesels, then its just up the the engine tune to see if it will work... I know there are a huge amount of unknowns there but everyone said I was crazy when we swapped a G56 for a 48re in my old 07 CTD. If you haven't figured out I'm kinda crazy when it comes to vehicles... I also have alot of really smart buddies in the industry that like complex projects.

Hehe, yep. I really want that car. Currently I have a C6 Z06 that I'm building that direction.

Torque is torque, whether used for towing or racing. I was simply pointing out that a variable vein will make power at 1500rpm and at 6000rpm.

Good luck with the auto-x in a truck. At least with SCCA, my truck is too tall for the wheelbase. I'd have to throw on some serious spacers or lower it even more to make the spec.

Here's the turbo kit here in Houston:
2010-2014 dodge ram turbo kit

It's Limitless Performance and Fabrication. They actually know their **** when I went to talk to them, which was a relief. They've done one of these kits for a guy, so they know it can be done. He wanted A2W, but I would go A2A if I were doing it. If you're REALLY interested in going that route, shoot me a PM on it. I have a bunch of info on it.

I'll have to look into their regulations these days, when I did it 15 years ago the regulations were alot less restrictive...

It looks like they are just taking power from one side of the motor.. I'm going to request some more info from them on their set up.. I'm curious on the intake air temps with no intercooler, looks like they have a exchange plenum that they may be using for that since it looks like there is a coolant tube going to it but not sure. also curious what PSI they are running at and tuning they recommend.

They're pulling from both sides, but the drivers exhaust routes underneath and/or behind the motor and then comes up to the turbo.

They have an intercooler on that kit, but it's air to water. I wanted air to air. IATs shouldn't be bad with either.

Boost level was on stock internals, so about 6psi I believe. Might have been a little more.

They also do their own tuning and are pretty competent. They were one of the first to tune the Hellcats.

I have more resources than funds... always depends on how many fires I get deployed to in a season, that dictates my budget for extra curricular fun cause I treat strike team pay as a personal bonus. last year it was about a 10k bonus to play with, this year I'm already up to half that and if I get sent to washington for 3 weeks it will be about another 15k on top of that.

I wouldn't say I have more money than brains, just like a challenge and am addicted to hot rodding vehicles.

maybe I should go to meetings for it :roflsquared:

looking back I probably could have bout a few houses with what I've spent on vehicles thoughtout my life

Oh and I know suncoast makes stand alone controllers for the diesel guys, a lot of sled pullers use them, just not sure if they can be tweaked to be put in a 1500, and if the tuning can be stripped out of the ECM like you can with the Cummins using starscan or other tunners.

I bet that a transmission out of a SRT-10 could be made to fit with a minimum of effort. You'd probably need a custom bell housing, and you'd be cutting up your floor and center console to get it all in.

That's not a bad idea though. Just take the trans completely out of it.

I think Matt is planning to do a Turbo 400 in his and just do dedicated controls on it.

You could run a T400, or even a 4L80 with its own controller.

Hi guys. I hope someone could help me, the thing is I have a ram 98 engine 5.9 and we have being struggling to get it to work properly. It is not doing the changes of velocity it always starts on 1st velocity, if wee unplug the truck Computer y works correctly but not when it is plugged. We have tried fixing the computer but the computer works properly in other trucks. We used a new computer on our truck and it keeps on failing do you have any extra ideas of what can be happening? (Sorry for the words and terms I use)
