Minimum Mileage before upgrades?

Hello all

Just ordered my catch can, and cai from moe's. Thanks to all of you for the recommendation.

However this is for my 2015 ram and as of today I only have 400 miles, obviously I should add the catch can asap but would there be any reason to wait on the s&b intake? Still on my first tank of fuel and already adding parts. This is an interesting hobby we all have

I see no reason to wait. I normally have exhaust done within the first couple weeks, as time allows. My wife's Grand Cherokee had 75 miles on it when it went up on ramps for a new cat back...

I'm a mechanic and I'd advise adding new parts and upgrades only as fast as your credit card(s) can recover

I had my exhaust and catch can waiting with me for the day for my truck to arrive, get them on whenever you get time to.

To answer your question, the minimum mileage to begin upgrades is "1".
Buying a new truck is like getting married, do not wait for Day Two to make it yours.

Begin, right away, and make the fun last as long as you can.

The only mod I'm trying to hold off is a tuner. It shouldn't be any problem but just in case my motor would want to take a ****, I'm giving it some miles to do that before I have a dealer that would try and blame the tuner.

Otherwise, have at it!
