Mirror Swap. No Puddle Lamp

I traded my non power folding tow mirrors for a standard power folding mirrors with a buddy of mine.

His 2013 had a different harness at the driver switch, so we couldn't swap window/door switch panels, so I'll look into that.

So we didn't trade out the door modules yet until I can get a switch that has the power fold button.

My turn signal indicators and adjustments work, but when I unlock the truck, puddle lamps don't come on. Well, they do, but like barely, can only see they came on cause the LED barely lights up when looking up at it.

Is it the door modules causing this? My tow mirrors had puddle lights, and they work on his truck no problem...

I know during the day you can barely tell my puddle lights are on but at night they seem fine.

I just replaced my puddle lamp assemblies in both of my mirrors (non towing) and they are MUCH brighter then they were before!!
I will say that yours are most likely on their way out...

They worked 100% on his truck before the swap.

Could it be the door modules? Maybe I'll aee if we can swap one side and see..

But you'd think my door modules would work as they worked on the tow mirror puddles...

NOTE TO SELF!

DIMMER SWITCH DOES EFFECT THE PUDDLE LAMPS! Turned it back up and they work! I am such a dork!
