Checked rock auto for a number for them and came up empty on the OEM number just the Wix, Fram and Auto extra part numbers. I wonder if its still using the same as the 3rd gen hemis. I honestly havent looked under a 4th gen to see.

Called Orileys and they gave me part # HP 2010 for the K&N filter. But anyone know if there is one that is a little bit longer that will fit over stock size?

The K&N filter has a higher filtration percentage than some other brands. They also have a 1"(I believe) nut on the bottom that you can use a socket or open end wrench to tighten and remove the filter

K&N and Mobil 1 Filters are identical internally. The K&N has the nut on the end which is very helpful in some applications. This will be my first change, so I don't know if it's helpful or not.

The reason he mentioned filters and RP is when you buy better oil you can run longer intervals if you have a higher quality filter you can then go longer between changes. This is the principal behind Amsoil. Which I use and Heath sells as a preferred vendor on here.

being new on here, I don't know who Heath is.... could you point me in his direction?? I'd like to start using that on my Ram. I purchased it last weekend, and has 13,500 miles. I'd like to use it on my wife's BMW X5 too if possible.

Get 0W-20 Signature oil from him you will never go back to anything else. Yes it works with MDS If you still have it on. Great for cold mornings too!
