Mopar wheel2wheel steps question

Ok so I've got a 13 QC express and I had the w2w mopar steps added. I love them so far easy to reach rear window and bed and look great. Now my one concern is during rain when I hit some water its hitting the steps obviously and the sound is rather loud and echos through the truck. So I'm asking those of you who have them do you experience the same thing? Thanks

I don't have the mopar steps but I've had Westins and now Nastas on my trucks... They all make a little bit of noise when the water hits them... I don't know if I'd call it loud, but there is a change in tone for sure... If you don't like it, look at getting some mudflaps for the front wheel wells.. that should keep the spray down enough so its not kicking straight up against the bars and it becomes more of a glancing blow rather that a direct hit..

Apparently the mopar black is not a WTW; only the stainless. I am looking for an aluminum WTW black oval. Any suggestions?

I suggest the mopar wheel 2 wheel step bars they are great steps I have no complaints besides what I've stated during rain but that's minor and sounds common on any bar it seems.
