Muffler hanger

i just purchased a Flowmaster series 50 hd muffler for my truck. I noticed it didn’t come with any clamps or a hanger. My oem muffler has the hanger welded onto it. My question is, can I install this muffler without a hanger?

I wouldn't. It will flop around and bang the underside of the truck. Take it to an exhaust shop and have them weld one on for ya.

Most good muffler shops will get a hanger welded up for you to use in the OEM hanger mounts.
