About 6 months ago I changed out my radiator since it was leaking.

I bought the correct MOPAR coolant(purple) and mixed it 50/50 with distilled water. Usually this stuff turns orange after a while and you can’t really see through it.

Today I’m checking fluids on truck and I notice I can see right through the stuff. Used a straw to put some in a bottle(see pic). Any idea why it looks like this?

If you put water in the overflow bottle and didn’t purge the air from the system, then the system is not drawing from the bottle. Open the radiator cap and see if there is air or it is filled to the top with fluid

Ok I’ll drain everything and make sure to get it out the reservoir too.

I don’t remember ever putting water in there but who knows. And even if I did, it wouldn’t have been much. Could it have diluted it this much?

Purge a coolant air purge kit off amazon for the purging the air out when you refill. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUpXgAJ1gjU

When you drained the coolant, did you just re-fill it with the 50/50 mix or did you flush the whole system with water before re-filling?
