So true. Mine even hating driving my 2500. So she is happy, I am happy.

Yep, nice looking Ram and it makes it even better when the better half likes the truck too. Mine hated my 2500’s I’ve owned as she hated the ride...and the 2019 1500 models ride super soft as she says “like a Cadillac sedan”.

Remember, Canadian truck. L/100kms

12-13mpg at 90mph, 4wd cruising through an icy Montana freeway. Cruise works at that speed.
Me know, lol, just not dealt with metrics since I left Europe. Still for conditions and that 6.4, and speed, not bad.

There is no where around here U gonna do 90 mph. There is a toll Highway runs around Austin top speed 85 mph., lol...

The very best I got with my 2500 hemi was 18 miles per gallon on one trip but it was just on one tank of gas. My 2500 on the interstate running 70 mph usually average 16 sometimes 17 miles per gallon which is not bad for that big of a truck also considering my 94 F150 20 years ago only got 14 to 15 mpg with a 302.

Nice looking truck OP. Glad to hear you and the wife like it. Looks like you get a little better MPG that I do. I get between 19 and 20 most of the time. I manually check it nearly every time. Wife thinks I'm OCD. I think it will let me know if there's an issue. Yep, it's a truck but I'd love for it to get the same MPG as a Prius. :)

I still have a 95 F150 with a 302. I get about 14 to 15 MPG on it too. It's my local truck. I just hit 97k miles. It's in pretty good shape for an old truck.

Love the new Rams. They look great plus....mileage is great. I had a drone noise problem but that got fixed with a couple downloads at the dealer. I have the 5.7 hemi....3.92 rear....tow package...4x4. She's a Tradesman...Delmonico Red. Love the truck....smooth riding....backseat room is big for two dogs.

Just got back from our annual 1600 mile Christmas excursion. Visiting family in KS, MO & IA. Truck ran great! My heavy footed daughter ran it up to 90+ on the KS turnpike (which if you’ve never driven it, it’s 236 miles of butter smooth asphalt) before I gave her the stink eye and she set the cruise at 83. Anyway; the truck performed great. Average mpg 20.4. Only issue I have now is cleaning off the +/- 200lbs of Kansas mud thats inside the wheel wells and still clinging onto the sidesteps. (that KS mud is why I always opt for the rubber floor mats)

The Mopar wheel well liners will make cleanup of that Kansas mud a breeze...if you don’t have them yet. They are simple to install and should have remained factory on all Rams IMHO.

$160 a set on eBay

Yes I have them. One of those must haves. If it didn’t have them I would have had the dealer add them. And yes, it cleaned up easy.

Really? A junior member is going there with a senior member who clearly understands the purpose of this forum?

The first thing you should understand about this forum is the purpose is to learn and share experiences. Just because we all purchased trucks doesn’t mean we don’t give a damned about fuel mileage, tire wear, optimal oil change intervals or issues others may be having with their trucks. The man asked a genuine question, others provided input but your response adds zero value to the discussion. Like Mama said, if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.

yes i may be a junior member, but why moan and grown about gass mileage on a truck, trucks are for hauling stuff back and forth to work, if you dont like your mileage you should have bought a smaller truck instead of sinking all that money into a fancy ride, if you had bought a smaller truck you would have had the money to spend on your kids and gas

No doubt, I need to add these to my truck. Sometimes I am truly baffled by some of the cost cutting measures. I would have gladly paid $100-200 more for the truck with these liners already installed. Some stuff makes sense to me as options - bed steps, running boards, sliding tool boxes - but some stuff is just common sense that it should be a basic part of a vehicle. My cheap Kia Soul econobox has wheel well liners.

I thought Ford was the only ones charging extra for the rear wheel liner but ram does it in the 5th gen now? Save cost?
