Mysterious Tick

First off, I don't believe this noise is the HEMI tick. The tick occurs whether the truck is warm or cold. Notice it when the truck idles for more than about 12 seconds. It's coming from the front of the engine. Idk if anyone has any ideas what it is or not

Upload the audio. Hemi tick has many forms, and is very often intermittent, two most prevalent causes is lifters or exhaust bolts. However, there are other causes as well, occasional they pop up things such as injector tick.

I've got a similar issue and I tried uploading the audio, but it kept saying invalid file.... I'm just trying to upload it from my iPhone, is there another way I need to do it??

These are noise engines. Ive had a great many of Hemis over the past 10 years each one had its own strange noise. 80% of the time it was time for an oil change, 10% was exhaust leak, and 10% were noisy injectors.

Got my oil changed and the tick quieted down a lot.
