OK finally after 500K miles I upgrade to a new Ram 2500.. my previous had no electronics so I had a Garmin on the windshield. Now I have a 12" screen and want the features of my Garmin. It had great POI's you could load and most of all I had the RV version which you could tell it you were towing and it would warn you about bridge heights, narrow roads, etc. Everything you are always concerned about when towing large. Is there anyway to load stuff like that on the RAM Nav? I really miss those features on the Garmin.

Is there a way to download a Navigation App to your cell phone & display the Map on the 12" screen or just half of it ??

I do know that the Ram Navigation is crap, Tom-Tom Navigation is junk, when compared to most of the others.

Waze is used by Ford vehicles & others, but because so many people use it, when you are detoured, everyone goes that way & it causes a traffic jam.

At least when you use Google Map App, you can find an alternate route, to use if you choose

The Garmin Explore app can be downloaded free from the app store on a mobile device.
