Right now the CD in my truck is 05064033ad . It needs replacing is there a later version of the disc I should be looking for?

There are newer versions of that DVD part no.05064033. Version 0506403AL disks are available on the used market.
New from MOPAR it was $225. It can be purchased for between $60 - $90 on eBay
I don't believe they have made a DVD for the REC/NAV head unit in your truck since version AL was produced.

Ugh, hate the REC...that truck is a perfect candidate for a MyGig retrofit/upgrade.

I have a RER in my jeep, it is great and all I am really thinking about replacing it with Android radio. THese older mygigs are getting long in tooth , features dwindling and of course the expensive map updates. I got a 2012 update from some fellow that fixes mygigs, repairs drives and etc, I tested out a few of his builds for him. The truck is definitely getting one soon
