Heya folks...

I have a small LED bar that I'm going to be putting near the rear license plate, and there is a control box that goes inside the cab. What I'm looking for is an easy wire to tap into to provide a switched power source to the control box inside the cab. Is my easiest bet going to be a fuse tap to an existing fuse in a junction box?

Thanks in advance!

That's what I would do to keep it safe and neat.

Now I looked under the driver side and didn't see any boxes. I'm driving now otherwise I'd just check the manual but where is an interior fuse panel in here?

The control box needs to be inside the cab. Unless you're referring to a harness inside, then tell me where it's at and I'll check it out :)

I actually Googled and there doesn't seem to be an interior fuse box..... So tap something under the hood and run a wire into the cab or just splice into an existing switched source somewhere behind the steering wheel or deck?

Is it a LED light to illuminate the plate as the standard plate lights do? Just tap into the (brown) wire on your 4 pin... that will let the light turn on and off via the "park/run" lamps.

No there is a control box that needs power inside the cab near the driver. It controls the device on the outside of the truck.
