I'm currently trying to figure out why my ABS light is on. For some reason, my ODB II port does not have a connection in #13 (its an early '96 model) so I have not been able to pull any ABS codes.

I was trying to following the trouble shooting procedures in my service manual but cannot find the ABS computer module that is suppose to be under the dash. I know what it looks like and where it is suppose to be but have scoured under the dash from the driver's compartment to the center console to no avail.

Is there some other spot I should be checking? I've already looked under the hood by the pump and the control module with no luck. My 96 2500 has RWAL - was this computer module only used on 4 wheel ABS systems, perhaps?

Any help would be appreciated!

Fuse???
And there's a small valve on the master cylender with a single wire on it that sends a signal to the abs system.
I'll bet its the valve. Very typical problem on fords so maybe this is the problem here too

I've checked all the fuses and the relay with no luck but haven't checked the master cylinder (other than for fluid). I'll take a closer look at it tomorrow. Thx!
