ok im new here so please bear with me. I have a customer that brought in an 04 2500 hemi with 2 broken rods. I had another hemi out of an 06 300 laying around. I stripped both engines down and used only the block from the 300. everything else was from the truck. got it all back together and now it runs like crap. have to crank forever while giving gas to start then it runs really rich. ive changed everything sensor wise and plugs. im lost.

Did you strip the block completely or did you use the short block?

i used the short block. the only thing I changed was the mds. which wasn't really nessecary from what I understand. I took the solenoids out and put the dummy plugs in. other than that I just swapped the crank sensor and cam sensor so everything would be from the truck.

So you pulled the solenoids but ran with the original lifters?
