I have a 2012 crew cab, i can't remember if there was a hole behind the rear seat on the floor or I drilled one. I wanted to get into the cab ASAP, then ran under the carpet.

There's a couple plastic block off plugs that can be used in the cab floor. My nitrous bottle is mounted behind the seat in my regular cab,and just ran the lines through the nearest plug, same for the wiring on my stand alone fuel cell in the box, they got run through one of the plates in the floor.

If it hasn't been said already, you can cut the e-brake rubber grommet under the the driver's side carpet and get the wires up through there. I wouldn't recommend it only because I've had a large coil of spare wire tucked up underneath the dash, but it definitely works.

I'm trying to run 3 camera wires to the back of my truck for my rv, trailer hitch and rear cam to a dashboard carplay unit. I've been hunting for a grommet under the front seat and haven't been able to find anything. Anybody have some good instructions? I'd rather not go throught the firewall since all camera lines need to go to the dashboard unit

When I ran wires to the back of my truck I went thru a rubber grommet under the driver seat on the floor. Why run wires forward into engine compartment just to go back again.
any idea where that grommet is? I've been searching

This is my 2021 2500. Just left and slightly down from the steering shaft you can see where I fished the power cord for my in car warmer. There is also a spot with a black filler right above that can be used too.

Use an awl or something else round to make the hole, that way it doesn't spread and become too large.

I ran mine up under the frame and then pushed them in through the grommet where the park brake exits the cab
