Need help with Fluids

I put valvoline atf+4 in my transfer case. Had a couple quarts leftover from changing the trans fluid.

I dont think the hd's have 4x4 auto. Just 4 lock and 4 lo

Im planning to do my ZF next weekend…delayed by a a crappy cracked fluid transfer pump…I plan on Valvoline max life in both the ZF and BW44.

Guys I need your help. I am changing the dif fluids front and rear. Going with Mobile One as it has never let me down. Question is how many quarts does each diff take. I checked my truck and the owner manula is gone. Also what does the transfer case use for fluid and what quanity? Thank you in advance.

3.5qts in the back if you have an 11.5" rearend 14 cover bolts and make sure you use limited slip bottle I buy mine from Ram dealership if you have a limited slip rearend. Front end is about 2 qts. I use Amsoil 75 90 full synthetic plus a qt of Lucas. and transfer case I always use Valvoline transfer case fluid. it is alot cheaper than a quart or ram transfer case oil at 40 bucks a quart andit takesabout 2.5 quarts there abouts. I have a2013 Laramie Limited Edition 3500. I change my gear oils every 2 years if it needs it or not.

Limited slip additive isn't needed in the rears of 2500/3500's since there's no clutch packs.

Thought I'd read somebody say Stellantis cost-reduced by changing axle suppliers from AAM back to Dana with limited slip clutches? I don't recall what model year, but I'd definitely recommend people paying attention to what their owner's manuals say. For an AAM with a true gear locker, the manual will state limited slip additive is not required (and in fact is not recommended by the axle makers).

I did just read on another site that the 45/5500 uses or used the Dana rear.

I get so confused with manufacturers toggling suppliers often. I'm sure I read something about it somewhere on the Forum not too long ago. I remember lamenting the loss of the TracRite GT torsen all gear differential, and saying something about staying with my 2017 instead of buying new.

up to the end of the production year 2010, Ram 1500s used the
AAM 9.25 rear differential

all 2011 + Ram 1500s used the ZF 235 mm / 9.25 rear differential, ( ZF Friedrichshafen AG )

i won't swear to this, but

most of the 2500 and all 3500 Rams use Dana 60 front axles. The 1500 Rams and some early light duty 2500 Rams used a 9.25 Chrysler (Spicer) axle in the rear.
A Dana 60 rear axle was used on heavy-duty 2500 V8 Rams.

( some pre 2011, 9.25 differentials were marked )
Chrysler on the Build Sheet, they were the SPICER 9.25s
Others were marked AAM 9.25 on the build sheet

i changed my front and rear diffs to chevron delo 75w90 synthetic. I chose is specifically because of price and also because the Mobil, valvoline, castrol, etc all have limited slip additive, which 2500 and 3500 don’t need. Good luck, not sure if the limited slip with hurt anything. I’m going to use valvoline multi vehicle atf in my transfer case this spring, 2500 with BW 44-47.

Ok guys I have a 44-46 transfer case in mine. The dealer ran my vin. I was able to use the ATF +4 in it. I did put the Mopar conditioner in the rear diff. Thank you all for the information. Much appriciated. Good group of guys on here.
