The front output shaft on the transfer case of my 96 2500 has developed an annoying leak. I replaced the seal twice to no avail. I also tried one of those repair sleeves but still have a leak. The shaft has some obvious wear but nothing too crazy.
Is there some secret to using these sleeves?? After I installed it I realized that you have some leeway in how deep to install it. Anyone have any tips? Are replace shafts available?
