I was wondering if anyone had some advice for me. I have a 2014 RCSB Hemi 2wd 6 spd with full bolt ons. She has about 3000 miles on her. A couple of weeks ago it stared leaking atf out of the tail of the tranny so I replaced the tranny output shaft seal. Today I took her for a burn and it's still leaking quite a lot. Basically undercoating the truck for me and leaving about a 6 inch puddle of after parking for about an hour. So does this mean somehow the tail shaft bushing is fried, if so, how difficult is it to replace? Or is it something else maybe? Thanks!!

Did you check for Burrs or some kind of dirt on the shaft that could have torn your new seal?

Typically if a rear output seal goes it will wear a small groove in the yolk where the seal is and you'll get ATF leaking past it. I've had a yolk that looked great but there was a very minor dip in the metal where it was getting past the seal. Replaced the yolk and no leaks since.

I'll take a another look at the yoke for sure. What is weird is that in never leaked before, then I parked it of the winter, and then I took it for it's first ride and that's when it started leaking. I changed the seal right away and it was no help at all. The truck only has 5000km on it so you wouldn't think anything would be too worn but who knows. When I replaces the seal, it still looked like new. I would just bring it in for warranty, but knowing my local dealer, they are going to tell me to go fly a kite once they see all the bolt ons and driveshaft loop. I only had the truck at the track three times because I live over 6 hours away from the closest strip.
