need to find out gear ratio and options

I hate to start a new thread on this, but I my other major thread is in the intro section.

how can I find my gear ratio and if I have a lsd?

I don't have a sticker under the hood like someone suggested.
I don't have a tag on the rear diff.
I know there is a way I can rotate the wheel and count the driveshaft turns, or something.

does dodge provide build sheets lije Jeep does?

try the dealer with your vin...they should be able to give you a build sheet. To quickly find out if you have lsd or not is.......Jack the rear up and turn one of the wheels....if the opposite wheel rotates in the opposite direction you have and open diff. if they turn in the same direction you have a lsd.

I have read about turning the wheel and watch how many revolutions the drive shaft makes, but don't remember the equation. Hopefully somebody else will chime in with that info

you can also count the teeth on pinion gear and count teeth on ring gear and then divide them together and youll have your answer

pinion / ring = answer

ring / pinion = wrong answer
