Well traded my 2014 tuned Cummins for a new 2016 1500 Bighorn. I really thought I would never even consider this, but after stopping by my local dealer and test driving the 1500, I must say I was very impressed with the truck. The ride was unbelievable for a truck especially after daily driving a 2500hd for the last three years and this truck had all the bells and whistles my tradesman didn't have. Also to be honest I never towed anything that would come close to needing a diesel and got a great deal, $10,000 off on the 1500 being the 2017's are now in. It also gives me some piece of mind knowing I have a warranty again being I tuned my Cummins very early in it's life and through that out the window.

No harm no foul. I almost went and traded to get back into a HD, but after a 45min test drive in traffic I was glad to get back into my 1500. Besides, if I ever need a HD that bad again I'll just go rent one (or borrow one from work).

Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl. Yea I had my cummins paid off and pretty much traded even for the 1500. I paid 41,000 for my cummins new and they gave me 39,000 trade in and 10 grand off the 1500. Only thing I ended up paying out of pocket was for tax, tags, and title. Also had to haul all my emissions stuff over to them. But I will say I had a lot of money ******* in mods on my cummins so I took a hit on that side of things.

My cummins which is the one in the first pic was maximum steel. They don't do emissions around hear either. But once you tune and delete the warranty is pretty much shot.

I feel ya there. I am already missing the power behind the cummins. Going from 500rwhp and 1000ftlbs of toque is quite the shock at first. But the ride, features, and warranty helps with some of the pain. Now don't get me wrong this 5.7 will get up and scoot.

Had the truck 5 days. The bug has already bit me. Westin blacked out nerf bars, flow pro outlaw exhaust system, and K&N 71 Series Blackhawk Air Intake System will be here Friday lol.

Don't it thou. When I looked out in the drive way at my cummins it stared back at me, this one just turns its head and looks the other way. Not going to go real far with this one until the 60,000 warranty expires. Will probably just do a 2 inch level some different rims and tires, finder flares, exhaust system, throttle body, and CAI.

I just did an intake on mine. I am quite pleased with the sound. Idk much else yet, feels little more peppy.

Yea that's the main reason I'm getting mine, so it will bring out some of that Hemi sound. Trucks way to quite for my liking, coming from a straight piped Cummins. I can hear that Hemi sound wanting to come out when I floor it. It just needs a little encouragement.
