I have been using K&N's for years and love them. Amazon sells them cheaper than the K&N site so i was looking there. I happened to look at reviews and saw this recent review:

"I purchased this for my 2019 Ram Mega cab with the 6.7L turbo diesel (my first diesel truck) and it tripped a check engine lite for the turbo and it ran like crap. I took it to the dealership and they had problems troubleshooting it so they called the factory and the factory rep told them it was the air filter. They believe it was letting to much air flow to the turbo and the settings on the turbo couldn't compensate and tripped the turbo. They put in a factory filter and I've had no problems since."

Wow, could this be? Anyone else heard of this before I get one for my 2020?

Do not run the K&N filter or any other filter other then OEM. ZERO gain from doing it and inferior filtering compared to stock. The stock air system flows more then enough air then then truck needs.

While that review is way off and makes no sense, they have been known to cause issues with getting oil (if they area wet filter) on the MAF sensor and screwing up the readings.
