well I did it, I traded my 2014 longhorn for a new 2500 limited with the cummings motor, needed more truck for a new 5th wheel. I am really impressed with the ride of the new one. I almost bought a 1500 with the same motor then found out it was not a cummings motor and it only was rated for 9500lbs of tow ability 19000 is better. So far I love this truck only have 1200mi on it but that will change in Aug. going on a long trip. will have a picture of the whole rig truck and the new artic wolf together soon.

Congrats on the new truck!

You will run out of payload long before you reach that trailer max. What is your payload on the truck? and what is the max trailer weight? Which Artic Wolf model? General rule for 5th wheels is 15-20% of GVWR is the average pin real weight.

What bed length?

No 1500 can realistically tow a 5th wheel, so good you got at least a 2500. Even a 2500 can be a challenge to stay under payload, for a 5th wheel, especially with the Cummins.

You will still likely be over payload on a 2500 Cummins with a 5th wheel but I know there are lots of them out there towing them. Not that it isn't capable but the suspension isn't rated for that much weight. But be glad you didn't get the 1500. You would have probably been way over payload with that.
