What's the best way to bring the back of my truck up 2" to become level with my spindles installed? I've heard you can only go up to a 1.5" rear spacer. So how can I lift the back 2" the right way?

I'll be able to tell you Saturday if the 1.5" spacers are going to make the truck sit level on Saturday after I install my lift. I have heard that it sits pretty level with them.

So why can't you use 2" rear spacers with longer shocks? I used the 3" coil kit from maxtrac on my 14 so I can't see why you can't use a 2" spacer as long as you have longer shocks like I do. I also have the Spohn adj panhard bar to make sure my rear is dead center even though the kit came with a drop bracket I prefer the adj bar to get it perfect.

incorrect - It really depends on how much rake your truck has stock. Mine only had a 1.5" rake in the front. So when I added the 4.5" spindles, now my front sit 3" higher than the back. I started with the 1.5" spacer but still it was too nose high in the front. I then went with the 3" rear coil spring lift. My truck sits perfectly level now.

it really does depend on how much rake your truck has. We are seeing the Ram 1500 2wd's coming with up to 3" and as little as 1.5" and everywhere in between. Which makes things a little more difficult since they are coil rear ends you cant just play with different size blocks. As far as a 2" spacer goes though, I don't have a great answer because we have never installed one. I know that with our 3" coils in the rear you have to run a track bar bracket to center the axle and rear sway bar drop brackets. Not sure if the rear end would be pushed over too far with a 2" spacer never tested it but if you have a bracket or trac bar to recenter the axle and your rear sway bar looks okay then I would think you'd be okay. Just make sure your rear shocks match the lift! -- Sean

Got it all installed yesterday. Hardest part was the bolt for the Upper Control arm, no the easiest thing to get a socket with the new spindle. All in all looks pretty good.

I put 35x12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T on my stock rims. There is no rubbing at all, and there is still about 2inches of clearance between the tire and spindle.

Did you put any spacers in the rear or are you just running the Maxtrac spindles in the front?

I put a 1.5" rear spacer from MaxTrac in the rear. As soon as I get around to it I am going to put 3" front lift coil and new coils To level the rear.

4.5" Maxtrac

So that will put you ar a full 7" maxtrac lift then correct? Trying to decide what I want to do on mine...2014 CC 2wd. I've got 2 young kids so I'm not sure I want the 7". Anyone running the 4.5" spindles with a rear spacer and 35's?? Pics too if you've got them. Thanks in advance

That is correct. For now I have the spindles and spacers that maxtrac offers. Sitting on 35's it kind of has that slight Cali lean like some trophy trucks. Depending on the rake of your truck it might be better to go with the spindles and coils if you want perfectly level.

Ya I'll take a slight Cali lean or level over having the same factory rake which imo looks lame. Thanks for the answers Beard. If anyone else has pics of a cc with the spindles I'd love to see them
