New Battery Issues

Guys,I recently had my battery replaced and it seems that now my transmission shift patterns are off a bit.Does this make sense?I have the 8 spd trans

If you didn't have an obd memory saver pluged-in, you could have this type of behaviour for the time the transmission relearns the old settings. My 0.02 c

I remember having a Chrysler 4-speed auto in a Mitsubishi I owned back in the early 2000s being wonky after disconnecting the battery cable. Sometimes it would take a few hundred miles before getting smooth again.

I replaced the battery in my Ram about a year ago and don't remember it causing issues with the trans. The only issues I have with the 8 speed is that sometimes the first few shifts aren't smooth.
