I've been in the market for a new truck for a few month now. I was in a 2014 Jeep Patriot and needed to upgrade. After some looking, test drives, almost deal, we finally found a 2016 1500.
It had everything that we needed for a truck.
This is my first HEMI powered vehicle. I'm very knowledgeable on LS motors. I'm hoping to learn about about this platform as well.
So far i'm super happy with this truck. It's such a huge upgrade from the Patriot I was in for the past 2.5 years. It had been some time since I've been in a truck. This is my first full size one as well.

- 2004 GTO (H/C/I, Full Exhaust, LS1)
- 2014 Jeep Patriot

Thank you all. It's been one week since I took this truck home. I have loved every bit of this thing more and more each day. I look forward to driving it.
What has surprised me the most so far is the gas mileage. Compared to my Patriot, this is much better believe it or not.
I drop it off today, after work, to get the Line X done.
In the next few weeks I'm taking it in to get the two front windows tint down, along with my ladies Mini Cooper S.

Im out in Elgin also, East Side!
I'm sitting just over 21mpg for my first full tank. That is 95% city driving.
I dropped it off last night to get the bed liner done. I pick it up tonight.

I got a bed rug instead of a liner. I have a tonneau coming tomorrow. We'll have to get together and compare trucks!
