Why Rough Country?

Because its the best :roflsquared:

Kidding aside.....what you get for the money is great! All lift kits are pretty much the same.
The RCX kit is an inch taller than other kits. It comes with upgraded 2.2 shocks which I read is equivalent to the ES9000 of the Pro Comp.
Skid Plate clearance is greater than comparisons of BDS/Zone and Pro Comp (doesn't have one). This is a just a few of the pro's

For the money.....its a GREAT Kit!

I do not work for Rough Country, I just did my research and spoke to members with the kit and with other kits and some with other kits, still recommended the RCX and if they could do it again, they would go this route.

RC has came a long way. Back in the day this is what all my friends ran but they were braking stuff left and right. Now its made a lot better. BDS is thicker metal and it comes with braded brake lines.

Rough Country has lifetime warranty.....so yea, I agree. they have come along way and they back their stuff up.
Is BDS really thicker metal? When I researched between the 2, i noticed it to be the same?
But oh well.....both kits are good kits.

It just comes down to the $$

I'm going today here in a couple of hours to go get my stuff ordered. I'm getting pretty excited about everything. I'm going with the ruff country 6" lift and bilsteins, fuel hostage 17" with -12 offset. The only thing that I'm not 100% commited on is the tires. ( I know you big boys will tell me to go with the 37's) I'm thinking 35's and Cooper stt's. If I go with the 37's I'm going to look at that 1.25" body lift.

I do have a question though. Probably a dumb one but will ask it anyways. If I go with the set up with the 37's and 1.25" body lift. Is that going to change my angles on everything and will I have to get something else to make this work?

Congrats! can't wait to see the lift on.
I can tell you this....there are many members that go this route and 35's and regret it.
A few did not even go with the Bilstein and just went with the 6" lift and still regretted it. A member on here did go with the 6" RCX and Cooper tires as well.

I myself have the 6" RCX kit and Bilsteins at 2.1 and I know I can fit more rubber under my wheel wells and I have 37's

Now it comes down to personal preference. Some prefer the 35's but they are few and far between.

If you do the Body Lift, no angles will change at all. Im assuming you are referring to the CV's? The body lift is just that. It lifts the body upwards leaving everything else as is.

Why would anyone dog on you?
This is what most members grab.....Im guessing you wanted the Bilsteins?
You can add those later.
You will still love the lift and those 35's will look at home.
You may not even care to do Bilsteins after you see the lift.

Another member just did the 6" lift with same rims. Its looks pretty good :)

Yeah your right on the Bilsteins. I was going to do those fuel hostages. I wanted to do something a little different because around my parts everyone seems to have those. There isn't anyone with the wheels I have. I think they might be a little less quality but should do just fine.

All my stuff should be in probably Wed or Thur of next week and should have the truck pictures up by That next weekend!

Me either this is going to be a long week to wait!

I'll be on here looking up my next ideas and get a picture of the truck how it sits now. You can kinda see it behind my jeep picture in this thread but, I will get a better one.

Hey fastNugly You don't happen to know the link of that guy that has the same tires as I do. I've been looking to find it.

I found them!

Look up Chadser21 in the same lift section and you will see how the 35 Coopers look on a 6" lift. He too has the 6" RCX
Ls1matt has the same rims as you but think he went with Toyo's, either way, he too is on a 6" Lift and 35's

Too late now I already ordered them. Got them from Discount tire for 280 a tire and that free tire replacement deal also. Chadster21 do you have the newer ones that are the 10 ply E rated tire ot the older STT tec3 or whatever they are called?
