New guy just wanted to say hi and introduce myself

hi guys and gals. I just bought a 2001 ram 1500 with a 6in lift kit. my question is about the steering. I have replaced both upper ball joints cause they were shot I couldn't get the bottom ball joints out. changed the hub assembly cause it was bad to. I changed both outer tie rod ends and there is still a half a steering wheel of slop in it. when I,m on highway its not nearly as bad ass country roads as I have to fight the wheel back and forth to keep it on the road. any ideas on what I can check next to get some of this slop out. any help is much appreciated.

Try looking at the track bar. I have put 3 on my truck. Try adjusting your gear box and look at the pitman arm also. There is a thread on here about sloppy steering.

Welcome! My newest truck was a 67 chevy. My brother gave his 01,1500 Laramie to me when he got a new 2017,2500 Hemi. It had issues,including rust that are fixed thanks to all the knowledgeable motorheads in this forum.
