True. Which implies they are the same thing, which they’re not.
Control arms are used on independent suspension systems. Radius arms are used on solid axle muli-link suspension systems.
Not totally true. The rear solid axle on ram half ton’s and 2500’s have control arms, not radius arms.

I took his meaning to be the LOCATION for the jacking-point. He never addressed any work to be done on either control arms Or radius arms.
I think you’ve mis-directed your attention.
