Bleeding the cooling system is simple enough. You'll want to park in such a way that the front of the vehicle is slightly higher than the back. Remove the radiator cap and start the truck, let it sit for a bit until it reaches operating temperature. Once its at operating temperature, rev the engine about halfway and watch the coolant level in the radiator, it shouldn't drop more than a few inches, hold it like this for a minute then slowly let off the throttle so it doesn't splash you. Once its idling, top off the coolant and replace the radiator cap. Now you're done.
