So MEH. I'm not happy with the hood in general. The fit is poor. The wire mesh is crap. It was way too ******* expensive for what it is. But it's too late now. I have to install the hood pins myself, the body shop wouldn't do it. Argh.

I didn't like the "fit" of mine but as you say it was expensive. I had to paint it to pass for now until I can afford a shop to deal with it but at least mine is fiberglass. What hood pins are you getting as they have to be 6 or more inches long for mine.

You’re probably the only one who will notice! It looks aggressive and unique.

Thank you. It looks ok from a distance but when you get close I notice the weird gaps and stuff. But I'm probably being to nit picky. It is what it is. Those vents sure as **** work though. Sitting at traffic lights I can see the heat shimmer coming from them. It's pretty neat actually.

Sorry missed that somehow. Problem for me with those type of pins is the dealer would ( and I mean would) break them or the hood or just refuse to work it. I will get creative as usual.

I got an APM hood from a manufacture who is no longer in business and they sold it to me for $200. I now know why. $600 in body work later and its almost there. I need decide on hood pins now. I did have a wild thought though. It is screwed down in the pic because it was so twisted we had to do that and drive it around to help it lay flat.

Has anyone ever used the Jeep hood latches on these trucks? My hood mostly flaps in the wind a bit on the sides. I have a large reinforced latch plate for the center that is never going to come off lol. Dont know if those latches would be too big and bulky looking on the truck or not.

Finished product will be a Sport Front end with a Tyger Bull Bar and 20" LED bar.

My shop recommended I used the jeep latches too but I decided those were going to make the truck look a little off, I purchased the quick latch ones and it took a little work but they worked really good and they almost look factory.
