Hello All,

I am exited to be a part of this forum and a new 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Owner.

I am thinking of doing a leveling kit and what was recommended to me for my 1500 with my current 305/50/20 Goodyear Duratrac tires was to do a 2 1/4 in the front and then a 3/4 in the rear. Does this sound normal? Any other suggestions? I am not huge into the suspension or body lift thing at this point.

Id recommend a hell bent steel 3.5 inch level then you can fit 35x12.5 inch tires

Welcome btw!

I don't understand your last response, sorry. as of right now I jsut got the new tires and wheels and have also put on some 2.5 in bushwacker flares so now to me it jsut looks goofy in the front becuase you really don't see much of a gap between the top of the tire and the bottom of the flare so I figured lifting it a few inches. Are you saying I would jsut lift the front and leave the back as is? I guess my question is how much lower is the front then the rear usually? I jsut want to level it all out.

I put the 2" Hell Bent Steel leveling kit on my 2012 Ram and it still sits almost an inch higher in the rear. I'd say if you're wanting it to be level, just get the 2.5" spacers for the front and leave the rear alone. Of course, every truck is different so you'll just have to measure it and see.
