Hi all.
After reading the forums for several months I finally took the plunge and got myself a 2016 Ram 1500 Sport Quad Cab in white. Coming from a Nissan Frontier this is quite a change, actually lightyears of difference. I just hope the Ram is as reliable as the Fronty.
I thought I would give a little to the community, since I got so much information from here. I bought mine at Ram in Huntington Beach, CA. Drove there from San Diego, because they seemed to have the best prices by far.
My 1500 Sport had an MSRP of $42,975 and after all rebates I bought it for $30,900 plus tax and registration. I believe this is about 28% off and according to everything I read, I hope I got a pretty good deal.
As far as mileage is concerned, I am actually pleasantly surprised. My V6 Frontier got about 16.5mpg and so far after about 600 miles mixed city/hwy driving the Ram is getting about 17.4mpg.
If anyone has some questions/comments, fire away. I will try to contribute and give some back to this board whenever I can. Again thanks to all of you on here for providing a wealth of information.
