After having a blowout on the crappy stock Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires, I decided to go with the Nitto Ridge Grappler tires in size 285/65R20 (35x11.5), and I think they look great. I do have a slight rub on the inside of the front Go-Rhino bumper when turning at a certain angle, but I will be installing 2" spacers on the front as a temporary fix until I get a proper lift. I was concerned about the weight of these tires compared to the stock tires (64 lbs vs 40 lbs), but fuel mileage has not suffered too much. Here's a stock picture and a picture how she currently looks.

I think the spacer will make it worse not better? I think you will make it worse with the tire being pushed out more.

Also take picutres with sun behind you, never in front.

Strut spacer. A 2" spacer in top of the strut will raise the front end 2" and will not push the tires out at all.

I was thinking wheel spacer for some reason. Also don’t do a spacer, do a lift strut or full lift.

I agree! Having just spent $1700 on tires, I don't have the cash to do the lift I want, so spacers until I have the cash.

The struts are about 200 bucks and won’t destroy control arms ball joints and so on

So putting a longer shock in doesn't hurt ball joints, but lengthening the existing shock does? I'm not sure I understand. When I lift the truck properly later, I will be changing out the UCAs, which include the ball joints, so I'm not sure I really care about ball joint wear right now.

Do you have any nosediving with the added weight in the front? How much more weight did the new bumper add? Are The Bilsteins enough to handle the added weight of the bumper? Assuming you not adding a winch at anytime soon.
I had ARB bumpers on both my FJ’s and no way was a strut spacer enough to support the weight (found out the hard way). Some friends had 5100’s and had some nose dive with aftermarket bumpers. I wound up getting HD coilovers rated for the added weight.

Truck is almost level now. Was 37" to middle of wheel arch in front and 40" to middle of wheel arch in rear. Now 39" front and 40" rear. No more rub on bumper. Will measure again after alignment.

The $40 spacers brought it up to almost perfectly level. This is only temporary. I plan on doing a proper Zone lift eventually. I can't tell much difference in how it rides. I bet incoming traffic will see a difference! No nosedive at all.
