You probably get your fill driving a manual every day and are happy to drive an auto when you're done with work.

We have a pair of 10-speed trucks at the fire station, but I don't get the chance to drive those near enough to meet the need for shifting.

I can't describe how good it feels to know that transmission isn't going into any other gear until I decide it needs to shift. My 2010 1500 drove me crazy with its up and down-shifting.

Hay there Sage Brush, been talking with ya over at my post , thank you for the invite over here. Quite the thread you have also.

I believe you said you are in Pittsburgh ?, I am in Oregon, this would explain why we are having 2 different delivery times,,from were they unload in Portland and deliver to Eugene is about 130 miles, Some of these guys are like right on the nail head about freaky and weird things people have done, just about every one went through my head lolol, at one time or another.
I am glade for ya about getting yours a few day before me, been having fun with the guys at the coffee shop too---well they have had more fun i think,,today they were talking about hail storms (baseball size)and tornadoes and taggers and not to mention derailments,,,,needless to say i have been on edge a bit with all the friendship

What dealership did you go through and how did that treat you?
We've but a couple trucks from charapp and monroeville dodge and they both worked out pretty well

Hi Cody:

I went to Kelly Dodge in Moon Twp. I stumbled upon them when I bought my Challenger in April and they were good enough that I returned. My sales consultant was Dan Brunner and the sales manager was John Wiley.

Also, on delivery found a nick in the tailgate... no hassles. The service manager gave me his card and told me to take the truck to a local body shop and give them the card and tell them to make it right.

I consider it a positive experience all around.

Personally I would just have the dealer call me when it was ready, but I deal with a good dealer. I have driven all 3 of my brand new vehicles off the showroom floor so maybe I would drive mine off the truck
