Recall MO7, Chrysler is adding glove box light and under hood light. Some of you might already have them. I did not, though I bought the glove box light from dealer. If you have purchased these parts because your truck did not have them call Chrysler 800-853-1403, you will need your original invoice. They will reimburse.

Check with your dealer. The recall code is MO7. I have no idea why its a recall but its nice that they are doing it. Could not figure out why they would not put a $15 (our cost) light in the glove box at the factory. Seemed like Chrysler was getting cheap

Dealer here in Orlando pulled up my vin and said this doesnt affect my truck.I have a 2011 Express,what gives?

Just called a second dealer and they said the same thing....they say its by vin and nothing shows up for my vin number,I'm calling Chrysler

In a quick bit of research I determined the recall is for 2011 Sport Models that for whatever reason didn't include the underhood light, or glovebox light.

I think those were part of a package I purchased for my 12 but I have the Big horn. Since the Sport is a higher model they must have had someone somewhere make an issue that some other model got it and the sport didn't. Just my guess.

You are correct, this only involves those if us with 2011 Sports since there was a mixup at factory and thousands of trucks didn't get it installed.

Has nothing to do with other models or other years

Yeah! Just went in yesterday and had the recall done on my 2011 Sport. Now I can see my HEMI at night!
