Today is new tire day! I have put on some great trouble free miles on these but today I am retiring the 285/65R20 BFG All Terrain KO
They made it to 77,247 unfortunately cut short by bad alignment from a local shop :(
Here is the before...

I will be losing the white letters but gaining a new and improved compound.

Smiley,
You still like these tires and recommend them? How many miles you have on this set now and how is the wear? Also do you have your front leveled or is it stock?
Thanks - Josh

Also why 65's instead of 60's? It's a big price jump, is it even that noticeable?

They made it to 77,247...

What does that mean?

One set of tires lasted over 77k miles with a bad alignment?

One set of tires lasted TO 77k miles FROM...X miles?

Love the tires but I miss the white letters.

Live and learn.

Personally I prefer blackwall, but diversity is what makes that world bearable :)

They lasted 77k miles and a bad alignment is what finished them. Meaning his alignment recently got out, if it hadn't they probably would have lasted longer

Yeah they made it to over 77K miles but with the cupping on the edge that made the one side wear lower than the inside. Sad. We shall see how these new ones do. I put on a lot of miles these days.

So far they are good. I'll look and see how many miles I have on the new ones.

34" when you jump to 275/65R20 compared to stock 33" and then 34.7 on the 285/65R20 I had.
The size difference is not too drastic height wise but they are a little more narrow than previous 285 I had and I notice that when I look.

Rotate every 6000 or so. Don't peel out too much. I don't drive too much gravel that helps too. I was very happy with them and always have been. I think I have had BFG ATs on like four rigs. Jeep GC, 2 Durangos, Ram twice! Do everything I need I just love that they last so long and look good.

I put 90k on bfg at's on my old ford ranger. It was lighter and underpowered but still amazing. Only 65k on Bridgestone at revos on the ranger. Rotate, proper inflation are important.
