Just got a 2014 2500 with the 5.7 was wondering what's everyone running for tuner, exhaust, and intake. This is my first gas truck since I was 18 been into diesels and still have two other cummins. I would like to just improve performace wake it up some and maybe get some more mpgs.

Seems like s&b and vararam are the 2 most highly recommended as far as intake, and ther are tons of exhaust options depending on what you want to do, is it just sound you are looking for or are you wanting all out performance and sound is just a bonus??? Tuners are really depending on what your plans are. Diablo is really the most used and has custom tuning abilitys and their are a number of custom tuners on here.

I've got an S&B CAI, Diablo trinity t 1000 with a Hemifever Tune, and an MBRP cat back exhaust. These 3 woke my truck up! They all work together to give better results. I'm happy with my Hemifever Tune, Sean's great to deal with and is always very quick to get back to you!

Thanks everyone. A good performance muffler would be good with me loud is a plus. I'm definitely looking into the Diablo and s and b.

The guys have you on the right track. With your truck being a 2500, I would go with the S&B over Vararam as it fits better on the 3/4 ton trucks.

The muffler is mainly going to be for sound. You may gain 3-5hp by swapping the muffler, but nothing you will feel in the seat of the pants. The shorter the muffler, the louder it will be.

As for tuners, a Diablo tuner with a nice custom tune is going to get you an easy 30hp/tq to the wheels and will be the best money spent on the truck as far as performance goes.
