New toy DSP 88R

Well guys kinda getting serious and want implement an actual 3way plus sub DSP into my stereo of my truck. So here is the DSP the PPI DSP 88R. For 209 bucks on onlinecarstereo.com you really can't beat the price for an entry level step into active stereo control. This build is going to take some time as I am still collecting pieces for it but I wouldn't be me if I didn't share my excitement you all of you. Thanks for looking and I will keep updating the thread as time goes on.

So I guess that means u need to fabricate a car PC into the dash for on the run fine tuning!

All PC and if I wanna change it on the fly I'll have to have my lap top brad don't give me any more ideas kinda have one for android tablet anyway lol

lol well I haven't heard of anyone doing that but if I was going to try to do that I might as well build myself a small pc lol.

Just looked up a micro usb to optical converter and you can get them off of amazon for 25 bucks. Hell the tablet as a touch screen might happen sooner than later.

Welcome to the never ending deep dark rabbbit hole that is the quest for SQ. LOL. Just when its good enough...Nm its never good enough.





Luckly i have a few local people stuck in the same rabbit hole that pay me to do work for them so my wallet/better half dont feel the hit so bad.

Yeah my problem is I like loud dynamic music so sq is very subjective there. At the very least I know my equipment will be safe with all the setting features on the PPI DSP

Well to go along with processor who doesn't love European made speakers.
Dyanaudio mw150s, they aren't the big guys that people have been putting in lately but hey for a hundred bucks they will do just fine.

One helluva find for $100. Im sure the 88r will treat em just right.

You will love the detail, and realism of that speaker....and they like power lol
