bought new wheels and tires from rimz one online.

i purchased new tire pressure sensors and told them my truck model.

they installed them and shipped them to me

my shop installed the wheels and we cannot get the sensors to " talk " with the truck.

Is there a process to sync these up ?

Just have to drive a few miles. If they don't sync up pretty quick then they probably installed the wrong sensors.

How do you know they installed the right ones?

On GMs and mitsubushis sometime you have to deflate the tires one by one in order to get the computer to learn them but honestly chrysler has the best tpms system ever i never ever have to relearn them they program automaticly even with the position!
On GMs and others if you want to learn the positions you need to either have a tpms tool or deflate the tires one by one or sometimes both and a snap on scanner.
Oh how i hate trying to program a ******* mitsubushi...

All that to say thats why i believe they installed the incorrect sensors.

wow that would really suck.

I guess I will buy new ones and send the wrong ones back to Rimz one for a credit.

I guess I can take them out of my old wheels, just sucks that they have to un mount my new wheels.

WTF !!

Yes it does suck.
You should contact them first and see what they have to say, although it will probably end with you demounting them and installing the correct sensors, its nice to know where they stand.

A lot of Chrysler products have to have the ID number on the sensor written into the WPN module then drive a few miles. If the shops scanner can't communicate with that module you can try driving longer but may need dealer.

Also why not factory sensors some are only around $40 ea depending on the vehicle. I've seen them range from $40-$120 depending on manufacturer and specific vehicle

I swapped wheels twice on my 2012 using new sensors purchased from eBay both times. No programming was required, just a short drive and they synced up.

Weird. My new wheel and tire package synched right up after a few miles of driving.

If it is the same as my 13 jeep they changed the frequencies from model year 12-13 - I bought some 12 rubicon takeoffs with factory TPMS and they didn't work on my 13

I thought I read somewhere also that they changed frequencies in 2013. 09-12 were the same. Not sure the frequencies on each though

I swapped my factory sensors over to my fuel wheels. OEM sensors will fit on just about any aftermarket wheels. I'm sure there might be a few they won't work with
