New Wheels, and Tint

I think I have most of you on FB, but for those of you that are not, here are some pics of what I've been up to with the new ram.

I don't know about where JJ lives, but around here, the enforcement is pretty lax when it comes to the film. My 1997 had 5% all the way around on it and I never got asked about it once.

On this truck, I only went with 20% on the sides, and laid a 35% on the back glass taking them down to 10% to kinda make an illusion saying the fronts aren't that dark.

In MO for the most part people seem to let it go unless they pull you over for something else. Then you usually get two tickets.

I lost count of how many times I had been pulled over in my 97 with that film on and never had one word said to me.

Course, before I came to a complete stop, I had the windows down and the lights on quickly. Didn't care if it was raining, or -10 outside.

I'm up in STL - never tinted........my friend got pulled over a few times, had a few fix it tickets. LOL - but........he didn't fit in where he was at........if you know what I mean.

JJ, yea, I'm gonna have to try your fukken wax. I just have several different wax compounds laying around, all good by the way, that I need to use up first. I think I've got a few tubs of The Chemical Guy's Carnuba, a few of California shine from meguiars, and several cans of detail spray.

Couple that with my concentrated car washes, glass cleaners, wheel cleaners, leather cleaners, and chrome polish and I've got a whole shelf devoted to it. Oh, not to mention over 100 microfiber towels. LOL

I gotta get some cash in hand before I holler at ya for the headlights though.

I'll post up some pics of the ones I'm doing here in a few. Just a simple paint job (simple my ass. LOL) - The bezel is painted with SEM trim paint. Close to flat black, but so far I like the subtle sheen to it. Its going on a 2009 Deep Water Blue R/T.

As for the wax............we are doing some GREAT specials now! Check out of forum - if you want to discuss a case or anything else, let me know. We's slashin' prices!

Yea, I see where you're going with this. Don't want to black mine out. Just want a projector housing so I don't **** people off with HIDs. The low beam with fogs on this truck is pretty good, but the highbeams flat suck!

paint not needed!! mine arent, just projectors. the lights suck, period.

Well, all I'm grossly comparing them to is my 1997, the 2004 Ford, and the 08 avie. The lows are actually pretty good to my eyes, but the highs just don't have the throw I'd like to see.
