Max that top picture looks like you are using ever fitting in the catalog, don't get me wrong it is very impressive. I made mine as simple as I could, its a basic loop. Fuel comes in on the driver side rail, loops to the passenger side with a regulator off the other end of the passenger rail along with the fuel pressure sensor and connected to the return line. Here is a mock up before the final install.

Today i did not get to do much because holy crap it is cold!. Anyways, i managed to install the Ford air pump which i am using for crankcase evacuation duties. It is not wired, but it is in its place.
The OCPerformance manifold came with a fitting (1.25" thead) that adapts to a brether filter, but i wanted an oil fill tube. I found a filler neck for older vw that has the same diameter but different thread, so i cut the OCPerformance fitting and welded it to the vw's now i have a filler neck. I will drill and tap a 3/8npt hole to add a vacuum regulating valve.
I also received the 90 degree fotting to adapt the water **** injector so that the feed line runs parallel to the inlet pipe, but all of that stuff wont be touch until next weekend.

I ran one of those smog pumps for a while but ended up having to go to a proper vacuum pump because I would keep over spinning the pump when I got into boost with the amount of blow-by I had. Also, they don't like a lot of oil in them.

I have been running one successfully in my mustang for 3 years, although that car has gapless rings in it so the amount of blow by in that car is very minimal. I am going to try it in the truck and see how it works

Not much to update. i installed the water-**** injector. Painted the reservoir black, and started final assembpy of the elbow/throttle body. I brought today the cold side tubing to the powder coater to get them done. I am going to do them in wrinkle black. Still need to do the spark plugs and
I have a question; has anyone rewired the spark plug wires so that both spark plugs fire at the same time? Are there any benefits to this??20160220_100002_zpsiqtvvbsa.jpg

Damn, that engine bay is getting full! Coming along nicely. There is a conversion kit to do what you ask. There isn't much benefit to doing the conversion other than removing the extra wires. The exhaust waste spark was found to be of no benefit which is why they got rid of them in '06.

It seems you and I think a lot alike, I just did the black wrinkle myself 2 weeks ago on the blower bracket, valve covers, and fuse box cover and I'm very pleased with the results. I'm tempted to see what yours looks like on the piping because I'm debating between the wrinkle and the same green as the truck or the silver that's under my hood.

Is the W/M pump wrapped in vibration dampening?

Sorry guys but the 06+ still have waste spark, as it simply fires the companion cylinder's dual coil ending with the same result as the companion coil and the firing coil did originally.

Really? I thought they did away with it completely in '06; learned something new. Either way, the kit will clean up the wires, which I'm imagining is an issue getting them run across the engine with that intake manifold on there.

I did the conversion several years ago and haven't looked back. I just changed from OEM coils to SoS coils and haven't noticed a difference using them.

Thanks for the link!
I am supposed to get the tubing back sometime during the week. I will post pics of them once i install them (maybe next Sunday ). The pump is wrapped on black vinyl to make it harder to see thru the grille. I will run it with the supplied vibration dampers.

The idea is to get rid of the cables if there is no adverse effect. Just would like a little cleaner look.
What are SOS coils?

I received the plugs yesterday, will install those over the weekend. Stay tuned for updates

spark plugs went in. Started to piece back together the cold side. I still have some wiring to do and need a little help with that. If anyone has a wiring diagram of the fuse box or near by wiring, I need to tap into a wire that is hot when running only (key on, engine off I need that wire to be dead. Only "on" when the engine is running) something like fuel pump trigger signal. Or if you could post or link me to a wiring diagram I would really appreciated (2005)
Here are a few teaser, night time shots. I will try to take some during the day

I am almost done. I only need to hook one wire to turn on the **** (12v switched) and one wire to turn on the electric vacuum pump (+12v to relay) After that i have to do the tail pipes, but that is cosmetics :D
Here are some random pictures of the finish product

Quick update:
I received my base tune last night from AJ.
Loaded it today. The truck started right away and idled as smooth as stock. Took it out for a quick drive. Out of boost, it drives like stock. Gave some quick stabs to the throttle and I tell you: boost comes on quick! Though I did not really push it. Trans shifts firm.
I wont drive it again until the weekend when I will have more time (and day light) and get under the truck to check for leaks, etc.
I did hear an exhaust leak which I will pinpoint and fix over the weekend

Awesome to hear. I just got mine started today so I was pretty happy, I can't wait to take it out for a drive, about another month for that though, so I'm a little jealous.
