I drove a 2021 75th anniversary closer to home today. I *really* liked that truck. I don't know WTF was wrong with the other one I drove, but this one rode so much better. I took a pretty rough railroad crossing at speed to see how it would do and I don't think I gave up much, if anything, over my 1500. Night and day vs the possibly modified one I'd driven before.
I'm not 100% decided, but I'm really leaning into the Power Wagon as my next truck.
Down side on this one: It was ziebarted or similar with the hard coat spray on the frame. I hate the hard coatings, they crack and hold water and cause rust vs prevent it, IMO. Whoever did it was not great at it, either, a lot of overspray and you can see wrinkles in the wheelwells. Has anyone tried to use the lanolin sprays over a ziebart coating with any luck?
