Night driving

Anyone else have a problem being flashed by oncoming traffic on a regular basis? There's not a night that goes by I'm not flashed multiple times.

Aftermarket lights? Truck leveled or lifted without lowering the headlights?

Completely stock 4wd 3500, minus the Amp power boards, but I doubt they effect the lights ;o)

Sounds like your lights are aimed a little high.

Do you have fog lights and if so, are they on?

The blue light on your dash isn't on is it? Not trying to be a complete smart ass, but I have known some people that thought the light meant the headlights were on.


Just pull up to a building or garage and reaim the lights. If that doesn't work get an LED light bar and flash them back.

I get flashed to. I think if the truck is at a certain angle towards on coming traffic it blinds them. It happens to me to and I'm at stock height.

i lowered mine a little extra when i put on (in?) my new levelling springs.i occasionally got flashed before they went in.i found out it's a ticketable offence to drive with my fogs on if it's not foggy,but i do it anyway.now if i get flashed i turn on my front floods.

I still have the same issue...I posted one like this a while back. I even lowered them and I still get people flashing their lights at me.

yes, low beams on. I've driving with and without fog lights on. My truck also has auto dim function in case you do leave the hi's on. I don't know how to lower them and I guess Ill have to figure that one out once I put the lift on.

So so easy to do. Takes more time to get the socket/ratchet and open the hood. I adjusted mine because I was getting flashed driving around town, and mine isn't leveled yet.

All the time, but I installed the leveling kit and noticed the back sits a bit lower which means my headlights probably aim a bit high.

I don't get flashed but if some ******* does flash me (I'm running stock 2001 crap headlights and it does occasionally happen) they get a taste of what 22000 Lumen LED looks like.

I'll get high beam flashed, occasionally, thought it might have been due to the Sylvania ZXEs(halogen). Sounds like others have the same issue.
Even though I have LED in the fogs, I have left them off and still get flashed, I do "answer back" with my high beams...which are LEDs too

I get flashed once and awhile (Stock '15 sport 1500) but started to notice its always tiny/low compact sedans/hatchbacks. Short of aiming your lights down to 5 feet in front of you, I don't think there's a way to keep those tiny cars happy.

Yup. Run em off the road. Do the deer in the headlight thing. Go towards the light.

Stock truck/stock tires and yes get flashed on a daily basis.Hell I am not complaining though.The headlights on my 2004 dodge 2500 quad cab looked like two candles burning verses my 2016 Ram.

Maybe just a pointing deal? Zxe bulbs in aftermarket projectors. Not one flash yet.
