No 4wd

2014 8speed with Auto 4wd

I tried to shift to 4wd and no dice. The light just flashes on the switch and the "Serve 4WD" comes on and stays on. If I turn the key off and re-start, I have no light. Could this be the actuator or something else? I tried all modes of 4WD and nothing worked. 2WD works just fine and I have not heard any odd noises.

I do have Brandon's "switch" to make the clutches get better contact, but that had no affect on it either.

if you didn't do anything to break the case or bearings i would say it just needs a transfer case motor.

Is there a way to test? Would that seem to be an “out of the blue” failure?

Replaced the transfer motor. I am not hearing actuation from the motor. It could be a wiring problem or the control box under the passenger side dash.
