So I tried putting in my HID set but I got frustrated and decided to do it another day. I put the regular stock headlights in and turned the knob, nothing. High and low beam do not come on ever, with key in every position and with truck running. Fog lights and side lamps turn on but no headlights. What do I do?

Sounds to me like you blew a fuse installing the HID's. Hopefully that's all it is and not your FCM. Your looking at $$$ if it's the FCM. I'd start with the easiest troubleshoot. Check your fuses and put a voltage meter on your headlight plugs. If the fuse is blown the obviously replace and see if it fixes. If all the fuses are good and your still not getting juice to your headlight plugs, I would unhook your battery for alil while and then hook it back up. Some HID's are hard on Dodge's wiring. Depending on your HID Kit you'll probably have to buy resistors to keep them from flickering.

Another thing to look for is under the fuse box. On Gen 3 models the fuse boxes are open at the bottom and it allows road dirt, water and grim to get up in it. I cleaned mine with electric parts/wire cleaner and then sealed it up with spray on electric tap.
