Truck is 2013 crew 4x4 3.55 gears 6 speed . Had maybe 500 lbs of cargo in the bed. 12 foot single axel trailer with Polaris Ranger (mid size) behind. Going up a mountain road -8000 ft elevation- kept going down in the gears to keep moving .All the way down to first and barley moving. Throttle is on the floor. The grade was not more than 5%. Thought I might need to go to low rang but it got to the top so from there it was down hill. Any one else been thru this?

Weird! I had a 4.7 as my last truck. Just sold it a few weeks ago but it was a great truck! The most I pulled was a 6000 lbs RV. It did well but on bigger hills had to floor it and was losing speed, not gaining. Nothing like what you explained happened to me though.
