Brand new to the board so I hope this is where this post needs to go. I've been searching and haven't found what I was looking for...

Recently purchased a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with 1.5" spacers in the front. I'm wanting to do new wheels/tires in the near future but didn't want to do a lift on the truck. I just wanted a nice set of wheels and tires to go onto the truck the way it sits. So, I was looking to see if anyone had pics of their trucks with bigger tires on them without a lift to give me an idea of what it would look like.

I'm leaning towards the KMC XD series XD811's, 20" with a +18 offset. For tires, I was thinking of going with 305/50 R20's (33/12.50 R20). Your thoughts an opinions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Your truck looks great and nice job dipping. Love the XD's especially 6 to 8 spoke my personal preference. And 33's is a great choice as well, will fit no problem that I know of up to 12 wide, maybe past that too but I know guys running 12 no issue. You may want to upgrade to Bils 5100, you can read my experience in my sig. Small upgrade but your truck will drive better. No pics yet because as you know I'm still rocking the factory tires, want to get some use out of them for a bit.

You need to find something around zero offset to run 12.50" wide tires or the inside of the tire will hit the suspension . . . Stick your hand over the top of the tire and down between the tire and suspension . . . That's how much room you have . . . Your factory wheels are +18, and that's a 10.50" wide stock tire . . . I'm running 12.50's on zero offset wheels, and I have about a half inch of clearance

You want closer to a 0 offset or +1. +18 on a 20x9 with a 305/55 or 35x12.5 may clear with a AT but nothing with side biters. I know from experience. No UCA rub but it loved running the sway bar on sharp turns.

Completely stock suspension? The RCX Spacers, those are for offset, right? Or is that for leveling? (Sorry I'm a noob)

I just got a set of amp MT terrain masters 305/55R20's on mine on stock 20" rims, no spacers, no rubbing at all.

I believe he is talking about wheel spacers ... You will need them to run 12.50's on factories ... Don't go ebay cheap on them ... Make sure they are hubcentric

Yup, the old Sport Wheels are the same offset/size

At 32" tall they really look better on a lowered truck though
....never been a problem for me....and we get LOTS of snow

Yes, stock suspension. The spacers stick the wheels further out my .25mm this allows the tire to move away from the upper control arm.

Control Arm clearance is a little tighter with the new General Grabbers at 12.4" wide..

Not ALL 305 or 12.5" tires measure the same
Check with the manufacturers mounted measurements charts

Some are 11.6" wide, some are 13.6" wide
which may explain why "some" get rubbing and some do not. :favorites13:
